Press Release

The New Vista Theatre Company’s
Sensational Senior Search
Call for Nominations Begins April 14th

OUTSTANDING PRIZES!
In celebration of The New Vista Theatre Company’s production of the Tony Award-winning play, I’m Not Rappaport, the theatre is announcing the Sensational Senior Search for an outstanding adult age 55 or over who is a resident of Palm Beach or Broward Counties. The call for nominations runs April 14 through May 18, 2008, and the winner will receive an array of delightful prizes.

“In preparing for I’m Not Rappaport, we found ourselves discussing how this play, although humorous, addresses many serious issues related to older adults – mainly not feeling appreciated. We decided that a contest to inspire people to express their gratitude for the amazing adults in their life would be a wonderful contribution, and we are awarding some terrific prizes for the most Sensational Senior,” explained Avi Hoffman, founder of The New Vista Theatre Company, located in Boca Raton.

The New Vista Theatre Company, which holds performances at the West Boca Performing Arts Center, will review nominations looking for the most heartfelt stories of how the nominated senior impacted the life of the nominator and/or their community.  A panel of judges will determine the winner who will be awarded an array of prizes during a performance of the New Vista’s second summer production, Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh!
